How to apply to J​IPA

1.Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must have a minimum 1 year of professional working experience.*
  • You must be proficient in Japanese or English.
  • You must possess a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent degree.*

*If you do not have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent by the time of entrance, you will need to undergo a Preliminary Screening to determine if your background and work experience is sufficient.


2.Preliminary Screening

If you are 18 years of age but do not meet one or more of the admission requirements listed above, you may still apply for the JIPA programs. However, you will first need to pass a Preliminary Screening, which includes a review of your language skills and essays.

A. Prepare your documents for the application

1. Personal Data*  

2. Photo (a photo that clearly shows your face) *

3. University Degrees (translated if not written in English) 

4. Professional Certificates (translated if not written in English) 

5. English (GMAT, GRE, IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC) or Japanese (JLPT) Certificates

6. Essays to demonstrate your motivation (written in English or Japanese) *

7. Curriculum Vitae (formatted in English or Japanese)

*Items 1, 2, and 6 above are required to be eligible to apply.

B. Place the files in the specified format

2.Place the files you prepared above into "Application documents" folder.

3.Zip the folder​

2. Initial result notificationYour initial screening is evaluated based on the information and documents you submitted with your application. Shortlisted applicants will receive their interview schedule at this time.
3. Second screening (Interview)*Participate in a 30-minute online interview.
4. Final result notificationThe Admissions Committee will evaluate your application and interview and then inform you of the final decision.
5. Confirmation of enrollmentYou can start the program from the Monday following the week you receive the final result notification.
